LidWorks is built to stay out of your business. This page explains what happens to your information when you use the app, visit this website or buy LidWorks.

The LidWorks app

The app doesn't collect, store or send any personal data. There's no account, no analytics and no tracking, and it works without an internet connection. Your settings, such as which apps to watch, stay on your Mac.

To keep your Mac awake with the lid closed, LidWorks asks once for administrator approval so it can switch macOS's closed-lid sleep setting on and off. That permission covers only those two commands, and you can remove it from the app at any time.

This website

This site uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. It's hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses for security; see GitHub's privacy statement.

Purchases

Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, which handles payment and sales tax; we never see or store your card details. Lemon Squeezy shares the information we need to fulfil an order, such as your email address and what you bought, which we use only to deliver your purchase and help with support. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.
